On January 23, 24, and 25, the coordination meeting of the STEPSISTER project took place at the INDIRE headquarters. It was an intense and productive three-day gathering, during which we engaged in in-depth discussions on the representation of violence against women in the media and the judicial system.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives, share research findings, and refine our methodological approaches. Through interdisciplinary dialogue, we explored how narratives around gender-based violence are constructed and the implications these representations have on public perception and institutional responses.
This event marked a significant step forward in our work, reinforcing the commitment of the STEPSISTER team to critically analyze the intersection of media, justice, and gender-based violence. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and sharing further insights as the project progresses.
