On 25 February 2026, the final conference of the PRIN 2022 PNRR project STEPSISTER – Stereotypes and Prejudices in Press Representation of Gender Violence was held at UnitelmaSapienza in Rome. The event brought together all the research units involved in the project, which presented the main results of their work and discussed the role of media representations in shaping public understanding of gender-based violence. The conference also featured a roundtable with scholars, institutional representatives, and stakeholders aimed at reflecting on guidelines and good practices for a more accurate journalistic representation of gender violence.
